Renew supplied a gas chiller to the Simmer & Jack LFG to electricity project. This forms an important component in the system as it removes moisture (as well as an amount of other water soluble contaminants) from the landfill gas to ensure improved gas quality for upstream components and gas engines.
Chilling gas also lowers the gas dewpoint to ensure moisture in the gas doesn't condensate within the pipeline. Doing so results in a steady flow of gas.
